Crownland’s president and founder, Max van Rijswijk was born and raised in The Netherlands. Holding an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Management from the University of Groningen and the University of Amsterdam, Max founded and was the CEO of Natural Synergy B.V., has 7 years of experience in the field of land investments and land development in Panama. Max was personally responsible for the acquisition, financing and development of several residential and tourism projects in Panama, out of which is worth mentioning the 1,500 hectare Kingfisher Bay project in The Pearl Islands. Max has vast experience in identifying, managing, structuring, negotiating and developing land investment projects within and outside Panama.

Born in 1966 in The Netherlands, Frederik Heida is the Product Development Director for CrownLand, and responsible for the initiation, visualization and design of CrownLand’s land investments and land developments. For over 10 years Frederik was responsible for the management and product development of several start-up companies in the field of hair products, digital asset management systems (DAM), multi media productions and complex Internet websites. Frederik worked with multinational clients like Philips DAP, PwC, Arcadis and L’Oreal. Fredrik holds a Bachelors Degree in Informatics at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands.

Thirty five year old, Donaldo Estrada Troetsh was born in Panama in a Panamanian – German home. With architectural studies from Universidad de Panama and a Project Management degree from ADEN University of Mendoza, Argentina, Donaldo has been involved in several projects in different fields, ranging from advertisement to cinema production, and currently owning and directing the international real estate and tourism magazine The Retiree Book, which is being distributed in Panama, Costa Rica, New York, Canada and England. Donaldo was also the creator of InterTV, the first television and marketing show to be broadcasted on the internet from Panama, which is scheduled to be launched in august of 2008. Currently working full time at Crownland, S.A. as a Project Manager and Strategic Acquisition and Promotion of new properties Advisor, Donaldo is one of the most versatile partners of the holding, with a diverse knowledge among many fields.

LEGAL FORCE

Nelly Perez Arosemena is one of Crownland’s young in house attorneys. Born and raise in the city of Santiago de Veraguas, Republic of Panama, Nelly obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science at the Universidad Latina de Panama in 2005. While studying, Nelly also worked as an attorney’s assistant at a very prestigious Law Firm, where she gathered experience within the legal field. Nelly is a member of the Colegio Nacional de Abogados since June of 2007 and is currently finishing an MBA in Procedural Law while practicing at Crownland, S.A. where she specializes in commercial law.

Carolina Carrizo López, born in 1984 and raised in the city of Santiago de Veraguas, Republic of Panama, the youngest of 3 sisters, studied at the Law and Political Science School at the Universidad Nacional de Panama and is currently finishing her graduation thesis in Administrative Law. Before joining Crownland’s legal department and from a very early stage of her studies, Carolina worked at a very prestigious Law firm where she gathered experience in the different judicial and commercial processes. Carolina is currently working as an Attorney’s assistant and is one of the key collaborator within the company.
